Adirondack Destination Wedding at the Fern Lodge in Chestertown
Brent and Lisa came all the way from Ontario to elope at the Fern Lodge in the Adirondacks.
Last week, I had the pleasure of creating Brent and Lisa’s Adirondack Elopement Photos at the beautiful Fern Lodge in Chestertown, NY. The Fern Lodge is a really romantic place for an Elopement ceremony and is nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate NY. Brent and Lisa are from Canada and decided to elope and have a private ceremony together. They also brought a wonderful level of detail to their elopement, including the sign they made in the above wedding photo.
I loved the details at this wedding. The bouquet was pastel with some silvery/grey accents. The gloves originally belonged to Lisa’s Grandmother.
The zipper on the back of the shoe was kind of a cool detail to use with the rings.
Grooms have details too:)The stone fireplace in the bedroom is one of my very favorite things about the Fern Lodge.Lisa does not usually wear heels, but she wanted to surprise Brent.

a First Look prior to the ceremony.
Can you tell how excited Lisa was?Did I already mention how much I loved these flowers?Brent’s face is priceless.I really liked the special folders Lisa made to hold the vows.The actual ceremony was in the main area of the Fern Lodge.
The Fern Lodge provided champagne and cake.The day was a balmy 27 degrees–perfect for outdoor portraits.Lisa was a beautiful bride.
Brent was so handsome in his grey suit.
I think this is one of my favorite images from the day.We went to the Circle B Ranch for a sleigh ride. I was super excited because I got to help hitch up the horses.Randy and Rudy all hitched up and ready to go.Another image with my boys Randy and Rudy:)And off they go!
