Saratoga Senior Portraits

The High School Senior Portrait Season is well under way here, and I am so excited.  Every year I get to photograph kids for their Senior Portraits, and it is so fun.  This post is about one of my High School Senior Models, Gillian.  This session was a blast.  We ended up doing Gillian’s session in two parts because it was a torrential downpour the first day.  We did manage to get some cool outdoor shots in the rain down in Albany.  However, Gillian is a cheerleader, and we really needed to do some images on the field with her uniform.  No problem–we just did them later on a different date.

For this post, I decided to go with more of a Question and Answer format because I think kids this age are very interesting.  I like talking to them and finding out what they like and what makes them tick.

How do you think you have changed from your Freshman Year?

 I have become more mature and grown as a person with confidence and hard work instead of fooling around all the time.

What are your favorite subjects in school?

History and English

What three items would you need if you were trapped on a deserted island?

Cell phone, food and clothing

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

One Direction, LOL

What are your plans for college?

To move as far away from home as I can and start new beginnings.

Favorite book, TV show, movie, music?

Twilight Series, Friends, Just Friends, and any type of music–I like all genres.

Favorite food?

Chick-Fil-A

What do you think you will miss most about high school?

My teachers, cheerleading, and not having a lot of responsibilities.
